Nissan Titan Accessories. The first generation Nissan Titan is equipped with a husky 32 valve 5.6 L VK56DE V8 engine capable of delivering up to 305 horsepower but has since been increased to 317. Its 5-speed automatic transmission features a tow/haul mode for when hauling heavy cargo. There are two main cab options for the Titan: King and Crew. The first generation Titan saw the King Cab’s bed lengths be offered in either 6’7” or 8’, but the current series of the truck begins at 7’ and goes as high as 8’. The King Cab also features rear-hinged doors that extend out wide to make loading in cargo or passengers easier. The Crew Cab bed length choices are both shorter by a foot in comparison to the King Cab but have four doors and display more room inside than the extended cab version.

There are four separate trim levels for the Nissan Titan. The XE is the base model, the SE is the mid-level option, the PRO-4X is designed to present an “off-road” package, and the LE is the luxury oriented Titan. The Nissan Titan PRO-4X is an aggressive design by the brand. Featuring 18” wheels, off-road tires, Rancho shocks, and skid plates, the PRO-4X is an ambitious alternative to the base XE. Nissan has marketed the Titan towards a wide demographic of drivers because of the trim levels offered. It has also received numerous awards, including being named Best Full-Size Truck by Edmunds.com and the Titan was also nominated as the North American Truck of the Year for 2004, its first full model year.
